Escape rooms are fictionally themed rooms that involve a group of players working together to solve a variety of mind-boggling clues and puzzles. each team has 60 minutes to work their way through the game.

The themes/stories of these rooms can vary.

You will arrive and be greeted by one of our experienced and friendly hosts. They will show you where the toilets are, and go through your introduction to the game. If you've not played an escape room before, this will include a brief description and put your mind at ease. They'll then leave you to start your 60minutes. Whilst they aren't in the room with you, they are part of your experience to offer help/support when you need it throughout your time. One game = one game master, they're 100% on the journey with you at all times. Once your game is over, they'll come to the room and have a debrief of your game with you. We say to allow 90minutes on site for you experience, but it rarely takes this long.

Yes. Our rooms are designed for 2-8 people only, and team size varies from game to game. We can accommodate up to 20 people on site at one time. Please see 'corporate' for more information. Please contact us with your requirements.

Just you and your team. At Pressure Point Escape Rooms, we believe that the experience should be personal to you, even if you are a group of 2.

There are currently NO live actors at Pressure Point Escape Rooms.

Please arrive at the time you have booked for. We cannot allow entry to the building more than 5 minutes before your booked time. If you are more than 10 minutes late, this could affect your playing time in the room. Please ensure everyone in the team arrives on time. 

​*If you are booked for a Saturday or evening slot, please ensure the whole team allows extra time for travelling. It is sometimes a challenge to find a parking space at certain hours so you must allow extra time for this. 

Parking is available in the town centre, please allow time to park and walk to us before your booked time slot.

The entire experience will last approximately 90 minutes. This includes an introduction, 60 minutes in the room, and debrief afterwards. 

We love communication, so please call us if you are not going to make it on time. We can allow a small grace period, however, if you are going to be more than 10 minutes late, this will affect your time in the room, or you may not be able to play. Please note: We do not give a refund if you are late and your game has to be shortened or cancelled.

Players must be 8 years+ when part of an adult group. We will not accept a group of players where the majority of the group are under 12. There will be no refunds if this is booked and we have to send you away at the door.

If you are under 18 you must be accompanied by at least one paying adult.

Our rooms are designed for adults. Whilst some young people do extremely well in our rooms, our games are not designed for younger ages.

Please accept rooms as being age appropriate unless a room specifically states otherwise.

No. Please do not take pictures or record videos when playing your game. We do not want our game secrets to be shared as this may ruin other people's experiences. If you do take pictures or record a video you will be asked to delete them immediately. If you do not delete them, you will be asked to leave.

Don't worry, there will be a photograph taken of your team at the end of the game that will be uploaded to Facebook within 72 hours so you can remember your experience.

We kindly request that you do not give away any of the clues or puzzles to friends, family, work colleagues etc. Remember…they may want to play the game one day and it is never as much fun if you have cheated.

Don’t worry too much! We will give you help throughout your game for those really tricky moments where you just want to tear your hair out! If you'd like to be game mastered in a specific way, just let your host know.

Unless stated by us, our rooms are not scary, nor are they designed to be. However, our rooms are designed to give the player a sense of suspense. This makes the game more dramatic and much more fun!

You are likely to experience mild stress because the clock never stops ticking and desperation and panic will kick in if you cut it too fine for time.

Please note: Our rooms are not locked. If you need to leave to go to the toilet or you need a short break, you are free to leave. However, please be aware that the clock will continue to count down.

Providing you are not in labour, yes! There is nothing in our rooms that is physically exerting or requires heavy lifting. We do provide seats in our rooms and our welcome room is only a couple of steps away. We do provide complimentary water and we have our own toilets should you require them. 

Please note: Our premises are up a staircase to the first floor.

Our rooms do not require any heavy lifting or major physical exertion. You may have to bend down or kneel down to unlock a puzzle. Be aware that due to the nature of the activity, you are likely to do things quite quickly which may be tiresome for some. If you are unsure, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss this area further for your peace of mind.
